Jared Hamilton – President

Jared is a founding director of two CFC federations that serve children’s organizations: Child Aid USA and Child Aid International.  From 2005-08, he was on the staff of Human & Civil Rights Organizations of America, a national CFC federation, screening charity applications and supporting groups seeking to enter various state and local workplace campaigns including the City of Boston, California, Massachusetts, New York and Virginia. 

Jared is youth director at First Parish Church, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA.  He is also a candidate for Master of Divinity at Andover Newton Theological Seminary in Newton, MA and is currently going through the ordination process in the United Church of Christ.

Jared is married to Leah Hamilton who is director of admission and member services for Workplace Giving Alliance federations including CA USA.  They live in Salem MA with their young daughter, Camille, who often visits the federation office to check up on her mother.

Mary has over 25 years of marketing and sales experience in both non-profit (National Mental Health Association and Project HOPE) and for profit (pharmaceutical, publishing, hospitality, retail, legal services, and education) markets. Most recently, she was director of marketing for the Workplace Giving Alliance with which CA USA is affiliated.

Co-founder of a fine-art poster-publishing firm that she ran for ten years, Mary travelled both nationally and internationally for new product ideas as well as for business development. She enjoyed publishing both new artists as well as classic images from the great museums such as the Smithsonian, The Phillips, and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Mary lives in Alexandria, VA. She recently earned an MBA in Marketing from Regis University, Denver, CO. Her BA in Education is from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN.

Paul sundquist – treasurer

Paul Sundquist is the Director of Financial Operations for The College Foundation of the University of Virginia. He previously served in controllership roles in several small for profit corporations. 

Paul’s career began at General Electric where he held several financial and accounting positions over a nine year period.  He is active in the not for profit community, serving on various boards including an international agency caring for orphans. 

Paul received his undergraduate degree in accounting from William and Mary and has completed graduate coursework at James Madison University in organizational behavior and nonprofit accounting. He and his wife Linda have three sons and a daughter and live in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. 

tim burrill – director

Tim Burrill is a Senior Manager of Community Relations at Fidelity Investments in Boston, Massachusetts where he has worked since 2001 on the development and management of community programs and educational initiatives. In addition to overseeing philanthropic events and coordinating volunteers, Tim also provides technical expertise to the community relations team, serving as site manager for websites and managing a comprehensive database for more than 14,000 employees.

Paul Katzeff is an author specializing in the financial markets, mutual funds, personal finance, taxes, business trends and retirement planning.  He is a staff writer for Investor’s Business Daily and coordinator of the personal finance and tax columns. 

Katzeff is the author of The 10-Minute Guide to 401(k) Plans, Getting Started in 401(k) Investing, Getting Started in Internet Investing, and Getting Started in Rebuilding Your 401(k) Account.  A graduate of Tufts College, he has been active in local government and not-for-profit organizations. He lives outside Boston with his wife Janet.
